We are sponsoring a t shirt design competition in What Digital Camera now. You can enter until the middle of August. The design judged to be best gets a Sony SLR, a t shirt and some royalties ... The entries need to be mainly photographic images. We have supplied some examples and detailed instructions. You will find links on the What Digital Camera home page. Some images of something, someone or somewhere you admire is all it takes to enter. For that matter you could have someone and something in somewhere you admire on the shirt. The winner and runners up will be announced in September.

Good to see Boris Johnson is making a proper start on stripping traffic lights out of London. Why was his stupid supposedly socialist predecessor so fond of them? And why are so many people protesting about their removal? Traffic lights are expensive and do nothing for safety. This has been understood for fifty years or more so why do local authorities keep installing them? We say get rid of them.
